William Control, Camden.
Yesterday’s show was amazing. Beyond amazing, but I can’t think of a more appropriate word. Incredible. His music has been there to accompany my best and worst days, and getting to talk to him again and watch him play yesterday just served to remind me why I find his work so inspiring. From the first time I saw Aiden live in 2007 to seeing William Control now, not one live show has left me disappointed.
I also met some great people during the soundcheck, so thank you to everybody who talked to me during the night :) I’m sorry if I didn’t approach you, I’m too shy to just start a conversation! Boo to me!
Now it’s the day after and I’m in that frame of mind where one half of me is so uplifted, and the other half wants to cry. I can’t listen to his music straight away because it’s all a bit too much… Haha, does this happen to anybody else?
Anyway, thank you William and Zombie Nicholas, and thanks to Obscure Pleasures who were also awesome. Also, Fearless Vampire Killers who I’d never heard of before the show, but were great openers! x
